Greene County magistrate court, week ending Sept. 5

In Greene County magistrate court judgments were entered in two separate cases against Madison Meyers of Jefferson. In the first, Meyers was charged with simulated public intoxication. A judgment was entered for a $105 fine with a $15.75 surcharge and $60 court costs. In the second case, Meyers was charged with public intoxication. She was fined $105 with a $15.75 surcharge and $60 court costs in that case as well.

Travis Michael Heinz of Vinton was sentenced to 60 days in jail, with all but seven days suspended, on a charge of violation of a no contact order. The jail term is consecutive to terms in two other Greene County cases. Court costs were $60. The judgment was entered by the Honorable Joseph B. McCarville.

Cases were initiated in magistrate court as follows: Roger Keith Ketchum Jr, of Jefferson, possession of drug paraphernalia; Beverly Jean Moore of Grand Junction, theft- fifth degree; Richard Allen Keller of Grand Junction, possession of drug paraphernalia; and Jonathan W. Funcke of Perry, theft- fifth degree.
